Well at this time as for 4G there are no Sliders the T-bolt , the Revoltuion , the Charge , an now the Bionic are all Candy bar style. I asume Verizon will release a 4g slider i just dont know when. they have a few more phones coming out this Quarter before Christmas an Next year they will probably blow the doors open wide an release a mess of 4g phones. An in one or two of those phones should be a slider unless Verizon does'nt want to go that route an they prefer there 4g's to be candybar only.
But its kind of up to you do you have 4g in your area an can utilize it to its full potential. like were i live its still only 3g service now i can go 30 miles to the south east an get the 4g but that at the most would be for a few hours only. an plus i cant upgrade till next May i'll have more phones to choose from but if i had money i get the Bionic an pay full price for it.

But give these few things some thougt wave the idea also do i have 4g in my area. if you do then its a matter of wich phone do i want. But i would read some more on here an see what people are saying about there phones the likes an dislikes an just ask the folks that have them what they think. I know its hard to choose especially because you have a Slider an you've gotten use to it. Im my case i had a BB curve an i did'nt think i could ever part with it but because it was a Alltel phone i found out it would'nt be as productive on verizons service an they were begging me to change any way to a verizon phone so i did an i went to a BB Bold but after having it only a short time it started having issue so thats when i started to look at Android but at that time the Original Droid an the Incredible was the only two to choose from. i was'nt into sliders because i had issues with an HTC slider before Android was even on verizons radar. And i liked the the Incredible but it was back Ordered an they could'nt get anymore of them thats what the Reps told me
so when the X came out i got it.
Well Good luck on your choice. I know there arn't a hole lot to choose from Now But more will come. an Hopefully some of them will be sliders for the folks that want that style of Phone.
