Droid Bionic Lapdock

The Droid Bionic is being released tommorow. I am interested in upgrading to it; mainly for the LapDock compatibility. Before I make the decision to purchase this phone, I would like to know if Verizon will be charging a tethering fee for using the LapDock, similar to what At&t did for the Atrix/LapDock connectivity.

Does anyone know if they will? I believe this is what nix'ed the idea for At&t (and charging $300 for the accessory itself which has no computing ability, just a keyboard mouse and screen).

Thanks for any input

Rvrooman, you are correct, there are no fees associated with simply using the lapdock as an extension of the Bionic.

You are also correct on your past point....13+ hours waiting for activation here as well....:smileymad:

So, Rvrooman,  did your phone ever activate and did you have to do anything special to make it do so?

Mine finally did, with some external help. It's documented around here...

No fees but it is completely worthless. It is slow, freezes up, & the touchpad is way too sensitive.  when I try to type my curser constantly moves from line to line from just getting close to the touchpad.  Also had trouble getting phone to fit with the extended life battery.
