Since Tuesday I have called Verizon a couple times (first phone call they weren't even aware of this issue). I have taken it to a store, where they said they had made a help desk ticket for my issue. I found out on Wednesday that no ticket existed. I've read some posts stating that they've been dealing with this for a week or two. Has anyone found some sort of fix for this? Waiting to maybe receive a phone call to tell me they've fixed this issue is driving me nuts.

Ok, my problem has been solved. I called Verizon's Tech support and they called the store nearest me and suggested trying a new sim card. So I drove down there, got a new sim card and It worked! So maybe there was something wrong with their 4g network earlier in the week?

Did you goto Verizon and have them activate your SIM card? Make sure that the SIM card is pushed all the way into the frame and that it clicks in.

If anything, go back to a Verizon Corporate store and have them replace the current SIM card with a brand new sim card and have them activate it and make sure that the phone works before you leave.

I had the same problem and ended calling the customer service number and spoke to a technician. She stated that Verizon had been having problems with the sim cards being bad and had to replace them quite often in the last few weeks.
She referred me to the Verizon store locally where I went in and they gave me a new sim card and installed it for me. The only problem now is that Verizon informed me that I didn't agree to the terms and conditions to renew my contract, which I did with the old sim card when I tried to install it the first time, and now they are mailing me a copy to sign and return in order to renew.

Crazy...and they would not tell you what is happening with the phone? Did they give you a new Charge at least?

Had that same problem. A new sim didn't fix my problem but a new phone did.
