When I go to the desktop version of Facebook my browser starts to open the page then hangs and crashes, just returning the phone to the home screen. Additionally, with the mobile version of the Facebook web site, when I try to enter a status using the Swype keyboard, the same thing happens. This is totally unacceptable. Any one experiencing something similar, or do I just have a lemon?

Try clearing data from Facebook and Browser apps... Goto Settings / Application / Manage Applications / All / Apps Name and clear data button (Reboot before opeing again)

Is the audio low when played on pc? Also since the device has GB maybe the Equalizer app will help... Check it out at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer&feature=search_result

The stock Droid Charge is still running FroYo. It hasn't received the Gingerbread update yet.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hello itsallaboutbill.
I understand your frustration with the browser crashing so lets get it working consistently. Is the browser crashing only in the Facebook site? You stated you cleared the data, I would also suggest clearing cache and cookies. Within the browser press Menu> More> Settings> Clear Cookies and Clear Cache. Please let me know if I can troubleshoot further.
