A little over a week ago my Samsung Droid Charge stopped connecting to the Verizon mail server. I've been to the local store and the associate did a factory reset - it still wouldn't connect. He said I need to upgrade and that repair was not an option.
Today I went online to my Verizon account and set the email to forward my verizon.net email to my Gmail account - all mail is coming in. My contact list on this phone has synced with my Google account. Everything else (connecting to the internet, texting, downloading apps and using them, etc) is working perfectly fine. What is the problem with connecting to my Verizon mail account?
You will need a diferent email app. Mobile Email App on Older Devices Discontinued on 3/28/14 | Verizon Wireless
