I went to a vzw store to play with one , I suggest to do so if you are able to do so to do the same. The 4g tested in store was incredibly fast, and seemed to hold a stable connection when I tested it ( not using an app) against the Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt was showing 1x, and the Charge was showing 4G. If 4G is incredibly important to you, then I say get a 4G phone. I own a Fascinate, and seriously could net see the benefits of upgrading now, but that is just me. I did get a Charge for my daughter(lucky her) it will be her first smartphone, and should be delivered today. With Samsung be forewarned they are EXTREMELY slow to push out updates, That I can tell you from experience

I have not personally used the Samsung DROID Charge SCH-i510 but know that the 4G LTE Droid Charge by Samsung, offers a robust set of entertainment features and represents a high level of mobile intelligence. Featuring a 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus display that is even brighter than the Super AMOLED screen, while also conserving battery life, the Droid Charge offers a powerful 1GHz processor. Add in the unlimited possibilities of the Android platform, and the Droid Charge is truly brilliant.
I have provided a link below that will take you to the page on the My Verizon web site that features the Samsung DROID Charge device. Good luck with your upgrade.

Motorola Bionic is Moto's "planned " LTE Phone. It has been delayed many times due to issues , that no one is talking about . Alot of rumors on why the delay. I just upgraded from the HTC Eris , which I had rooted. But man this Phone is wonderful ..had an initial issue with rebooting, and Verizon changed out the phone for me ...once they saw the reboot. New Phone has been great ..it's been fast ..and the battery life with the stock battery has lasted me just about the entire day. I looked at the Thunderbolt and was completely underwhelmed by it .

i haven't really followed it so i don't know what the rumors are. however, they said at the CES a few months ago, that it would be this summer. i wouldn't consider it delayed just yet. in my opinion, delayed would be when best buy is advertising it for 3 weeks and even taking deposits for purchases, and nobody has any idea when it will actually be released (see thunderbolt....lol).
