Droid Incredible 2 not loading vcast app or the My Verizon application

For some reason My new droid incredible 2 will not allow me to get into the vcast app store, and will not load my My Verizon.  The My Verizon app keeps saying i need to update, and when I do nothing happens.  I still get the same message that I need to update.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

With the my Verizon app, I ended up going to the Verizon store and all they did was take out the battery and put it back in. The guy also told me that it is actually good to take the battery out once a week on any Droid. Hope this helps.
