I got a Droid Incredible about two weeks ago. I was delighted to be able to receive and SEND pop mail. (My HTC Pro could receive but not send pop mail. ) Yesterday I got a notice to do an automatic upgrade with Verizon. I did and now I cannot send in my pop mail account. I have checked and rechecked all the settings. Added and delete the account numerous times. This phone is going back if I can't fix this as I don't want to live with this for another two years. Other than that I love this phone!

Welcome to the forum!
Settings on a mobile device will be different than what you would have on your PC. Who is your internet provider?

budone is correct in what he is asking, The reason is several mail carries either will require a SSL authentication when off network or just won't allow it. IE: I use Midco (Midcontenet Communications) they disallow SMTP or POP when off network unless you use their webmail service. However you can get work arounds IE: Google will relay your message if you configure it so I can send and recieve email for my Midco Account(s). You may need to contact your mail carrier or Provide the extra info (No Account names just provider) and someone may be able to assist in your right soloution.
Thanks
Mike

Exactly, all I need is the provider.... Comcast, Charter, ....etc I may be able to help get the OP to send mail.
