Has anyone had problems with their side volume down button not working? I have reset my phone and it still does not work. I have pulled the side volume button tray out and reinserted it and nothing is working. I hate to do a warranty claim on such a minor issue because I don't want to get a refurbished model when this one is fairly new. Has anyone had this issue before and can you tell me if I can get a replacement volume button?
This issue with your volume button is something I have never heard of, Lynn. You indicate that you have reset your phone and the issue continues, this is indicates that the issue is not software related as a factory reset would have fixed any software issue impacting the volume on your phone. Another critical step when doing a factory reset is to disable Automatic Restore as per this link http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-83424/ when doing a reset. Did you do it? If not, I recommend resetting again and test.
