I have the first droid by motorola and i have noticed lately that i am missing contacts. The contatcs show up in my call log but not the actual contact list. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I have my conatcts syncing with my gmail account the contacts show in there also but still not in my phone no matter how many times i sync them manually.
Also my facebook is sync'd with my phone and any of the contatcs in my phone that have a facebook account there facebook photos automatically filled in the contacts avatars. Thats fine however facebook only use to sync contacts with those that are already loaded into my phone, it has now loaded all of my facebook friends in my phone. I dont want that i want it like it was before. Is there a way to sync with facebook but not have it load all fo my friends from my facebook acct and just merge the existing contacts with facebook info?
Try going to your settings> accounts & sync> tap on your accounts> press menu and tap on sync now
Thanks for the reply. I have tried numerous times to sync both gmail and facebook accounts and its not working.
