2 quick questions.. How do i get the extra $50 off for being an existing verizon customer and upgrading..? I go to the droid site: http://phones.verizonwireless.com/motorola/droid/#/home and click the "buy now" button, yet the price in My Verizon upgrade screen is still $299. There is the online discount of $100 and my NE2 credit of $100.. Bringing it down to $99, but shouldn't it be $49 since i'm an existing customer?
And second question.. if it does remain at $99, and i don't get that extra $50 discount that verizon claims on the droid homepage, can i still send in my receipt for the $100 mail-in-rebate or is that only in stores and the $100 online discount is basically the same thing?
Thanks in advance!

Geesh. Sorry but getting the Droid for less than 99 is probably not going to happen.

The $50 they are talking about I believe is in reference to the NE2 which no one upgrading now should get 50 unless they were on the low end rate plan it should be 100 for second tier or higher. I have heard rumors about something like a VIP discount but no verification about that being extra money. My NE2 doesn't show up yet but that would be the only discount I am expecting. Sadly unless Walmart accepts NE2 you won't get it for under $99.

Depending on the cost of your plan, you get either $100 or $50, not both.
