Droid X:Battery Manager Force Quit

And other bugs.

Most of the time when I touch the battery in Settings -> Battery Manager -> [battery icon] I get a force quit. Two days ago my wife got a Droid X and we saw the same result before we even installed a single app. Clearly there is a problem with this app. I can usually resolve it by rebooting, but that wipes out any existing information. If my charge level drops unexpectedly, I have no way to identify what caused that.

Is there another battery monitor application that provides the same detailed information?

Other battery management bugs:

If I unplug from a wall charger, the back light goes on and stays on while the screen remains blank. I have to open the screen and turn it off or let it go off to turn off the back light. Oops... My wife's DX doesn't do that. I think it might be a bug in the nolock app which she does not have installed.

thanks,

hank

This is a known bug, Motorola has knowledge of this and a update is being worked on.. Usually a reboot fixes issue temporally..
