So im still waiting for mine to arrive, but I have a couple questions for those that own the vehicle mount.
Does the Navigation work well?
In Nav mode, is there an option for Pandora or favorites? (I know I can before, but Im asking specifically after you put it into the dock)
What was your overall experience with the mount?
Any info would be helpful.

I have had my car dock from day one and love it. The navigation is better than most gps units that I've seen. As soon as the phone is docked, the "home" page changes to navigation mode and can be customized to include any apps you want, including pandora. The only difficulty I had was deciding where to mount it.

I have also had the dock since the first week. I use it most of the time. The navigation works most of the time that I have tested it out. But, a few times it has tried to take me some round about route. I still use my Tom Tom most of the times when I am in a area that I am not familiar with. But, the Tom Tom being a specific GPS unit does more. If you don't have a GPS unit, this is the next best thing. Also, as stated, you can add other apps (which is how I use mine most of the time). Using the video camera is kind of cool to have your own dash video.
I ordered the car mount with the phone. I have had both from day 1. It is the best thing I have ever done. I purchased a motorola T5505 FM transmitter. It works great. I am a police officer in Maryland. I have the T5505 and X in my police car. I am constantly using the NAV and streaming Pandora, or my iTunes+ music to my phone. This is the best phone I have ever owned, and the car dock with the T5505 is the greatest!!!
I have the car mount and the mount itself works fine. Have some issues with Google navigation. The phone seems to lose the GPS pretty regularly and drops me back to a menu where I have to push "Navigate" again. Hoping the 2.2 update fixes the Google navigation issue.

I ordered the car dock with my X. Very good investment. The navigation works well for the most part. I just did a trip to Mi and back using Navigation, and for the most part, it works well. It did want to route me a couple of different ways than I wanted to go, but where I didn't know where I was going, it did a wonderful job of putting me where I wanted to go.
I also experience problems with the Navigation deciding to go to the background, but there is no rhyme or reason to why it does it. There are times where it doesn't happen for hours, but then there are times it goes a couple of times in 5 minutes time.
I think that the glitch is caused by Motoblur lite, but there is no way for me to test it out since we cannot turn it off. I have used Advanced App Killer to kill everything just before I turned Navigation on, but it is still intermittent.
But the phone/car dock combination is a winner. Its an investment that you will not regret.
I have had it since day 1 and I have really enjoyed it. I did notice a few hiccups, though. Being in the windshield and it being summer and being as thin as it is it does get hot. I noticed on other threads that people noticed that it quit charging because of the heat and I noticed that, too.
I traveled to Baltimore from central new york back to western new york without a problem. I put my defroster on (put the air on to the windshield) and kept temperature to cold. That still turns on the ac compressor and keeps the car cool and puts cool air on the X. Worked like a champ. Droid stayed cool and charged and I kept cool.
