Droid X No Cut Paste

The inability to cut and paste from an email is very limiting. It is hard to believe that a phone which is suppose to be so powerful doesn't allow cut and paste in an email. It is so frustrating and makes me want to give it up. It really sucks and I hope they change it.

You can totally cut and paste.  I think you need to read up on it or play with it.  The option is there.

I too came from having a Blackberry, cut and paste was easy to do, but RIM had years to perfect it.

Patience buddy.

If your input method is Multi-Touch Keyboard...

Double tap on a word. Little arrows will appear. Slide your finger on the arrow to select the region. Tap and hold your finger down then slide your finger to make your selection. Once you have selected your text, hold your finger down on the selected region. The edit options will appear on the screen.

If you are using SWYPE,you can use the same method as above.

Here is an additional way to do it when using SWYPE.

Double tap on a word. Little arrows will appear. Slide your finger on the arrow to select the region.

Push the flashing "I" key (at the bottom left hand corner of the screen) and then, without lifting your finger, slide over to the key just to the right of it. (It could be the "sym" or "123 abc" key depending on which mode you have selected). This will bring up a lot of options.
