How has your experience been for Exchange email?
I'm a Droid2 Global user and have been experiencing all the of the problems associated with Exchange email being discussed over on the Moto forums:
- Droid X Problems: https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/40791?start=0&tstart=0:
- Droid2 / DroidPro Problems: https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/37566?tstart=30:
The native Moto email app, Corporate Sync, will randomly stop updating. I've just tried the Touchdown app which some people have had success with, but this still stops updating as well for me. Within the first day of using Touchdown, i have already encountered cases where the native app works and touchdown doesn't or vice versa - more common is that neither work unless i manually sync.
I hardly see any posts here regarding this functionality and find it hard to believe many do not have the same problems...

I set up an account for my coporate email on my Droid X. I received messages fine for a while. Out of nowhere, i stopped seeing notifications of receiving corporate emails. Went to the inbox and received an "account error". My IT folks have made no changes and the local Verizon store says they've not changed anything. Well something has changed. There are numerous postings in other forums and it it seems to be a Motorola issue. My phone is useless now for corporate email. You're not alone.

I am curious if this "fix" has worked for anyone. It has not helped for me. I have removed and re-installed my account on several occasions and I am still getting very poor performance. Bottom line is that this phone is incredibly unreliable for corporate email delivery. The only way you know if you have any new messages is to manually force an update. Once you do update, it takes a long time to sync the messages.
