I bought my original Droid X in September of 2010 and have gone through about 2 or 3 over the past few years due to different malfunctions. The most recent replacement I got has yet another problem; the camera shutter is STUCK OPEN. This creates a massive washout of white on my pictures. Imagine setting the exposure to 10 and staring the lens into the sun. All of my pictures come out EXTREMELY white to the point that some are just straight WHITE pictures. If I try to take a picture outside, you won't be able to see a single thing.
I took it to the Verizon store and they messed around with it. Took the battery out (did nothing as usual) and then they did a factory reset on it. For about half an hour it worked fine. Now it is acting up again once I got home. The lady told me that I wouldn't be able to get any kind of manufacturers warranty out of it and I would just have to buy a new one.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?
