Droid X and outlook

Does any one now how or if you can sync up your outlook calendar with your Droid. I was told 2.2 was supposed to addres that issue.

if you are running the 64-bit version of Windows, Google Calendar Synch is incompatible. I posted an article in my blog with instructions about how to synch with outlook in Windows 7 x64 using the iCalendar format. The only problem is that the calendar in outlook is read only. You have to post/edit entries through the phone or on Google. The instructions are here: http://wp.me/pKU9b-2Y

I may have made a mistake. I need local Outlook sync without going through Google and if the Droid 2 cannot do that, then I made a mistake in ordering and will be returning it when it shows up on Monday. I have a friend that is apparently mistaken after much research on this the last few days. My guess is he is thinking of Companionlink, If someone else knows of something new that allows for local sync of Outlook, please chime in.
