Does anyone know if I can use the hot spot on my Droid X with an IPad2?
Also, has anyone bought a IPAD 2 fron Verizon? How is the 3G working?
Thank you

Can't see why it wouldn't. Of course that assumes you've activated the service, agree to the monthly access charge, etc.....

how do you do it? if you have unlimited data is it included? i can not figure out how i got charged for data when i have unlimited. so it's using a hotspot?
Hotspot feature is not included with the unlimited data on your contract, that is only for device, it cost 20.00 extra a month for 2 GIG of hotspot data..

Also it will work with any wifi enabled device...

I just purchased the 3G Mobile Hotspot for $20/month to use with a new iPad 2. I actually won it so I can't comment on your question about buying it from Verizon.
I'm not really thrilled with the results for $20/month. I've already had to call support 3 times because it keeps dropping the signal when the phone is stil and not moving around. I just lose the Internet and when I glance at the phone, the green check mark is unchecked. Makes no sense at all and I'm ready to throw this iPad up against the wall. Prior to buying the 3G Mobile Hotspot, the iPad would disconnect from my wireless every 10 minutes but it did have speed.
Now, not only is it disconnecting randomly again but it doesn't support many video types so when you finally get a video to load, you'll either get a message saying that "it's not a supported video type" OR it buffers forever. I can load YouTube much more quickly on my Droid than on the 16GB iPad.
