Can someone explain to me how to enable use of my Droid X as a Wifi Hotspot? Is it as simple as downloading an app directly to my phone through the Verizon website, or do I have to actually go to a Verizon retail location and get it set up? I don't see anything in the phone's settings that allows me to enable this feature.

Yes, you can turn your X into a hotspot and hook up as many as five other items on it. However, there is a catch. You have to pay an additional $20 a month for that luxury. You have to sign up for it.

Kreepnndeath,
If you open up your app drawer you should see 3G mobile hotspot icon. If you enable this feature as previous posted by others, you can turn it on by going through this icon.

Might want to remember that the 20.00 tethering plan only allows allows 2 Gigs limit before you will also be charged to use.
