Droid X not linked with Frontier

After what appeared to be a 12 hour email outage from Frontier, my Droid X is giving me "Connection error" message when attempting to sync. In the past I have had this happen and I was advised to delete the account and redo it. This is not working. When I try to add the account again I get "The social service is unable to automatically set up this account". POP port is 110 and the SMTP port is 25 (which is right according to an old Frontier Email problem post)

I would Remove the Account & Delete the APP ... then do a Wipe System Cache proceudre & reinstall the App & set up the account again..
Wiping cache partition- cures many ills and is better to start with this than a (gulp) full Factory Reset.
- Power off
- Power On Holding Home Key
- When Andy with Exlamation Point Shows up Press BOTH Volume keys
- Use Volume Keys to navigate to "wipe cache partition" and tap power button to select
- Wait for it to finish and select reboot system

But if that does'nt help your X. you may half to take that big Gulp an do an FR like i did. an i reported this in another post i wrote. An so far on my X things are lookin an sounding good. An my battery is draining slowly .
