Droid X price drops

Has anyone heard about or know if there's any talk of the Droid X's price dropping with the arrival of the iPhone 4 in the coming weeks? I'm looking to get one soon and was curious if I should hold off for 2 weeks or so until the iPhone is out.

i got a pr on a 2 4 1 verizon deal just before xmas. no reason to drop price, iphone's old technology compared to the x which has more to offer in my opinion, the screen being the biggy.

within 30 days of purchase, i could've taken my x back even for an iphone and after a little bit of comparison chose to keep it..

There has been a number of sales on the Droid X, I posted about a month back of a sale that had it being sold for 49.99 I think at Walmart..  The price will go on sale but I would shop 3rd party stores for sales because Verizons prices hasnt changed much so far and I dont see a large drop even with other phones coming out because Droid X is still able to hang with the big boys..

that $49 price was advertised at wally world ONLINE only, in the super store near me they were $149.

supposedly costco had them for a $100 before xmas, last time in they were $149.

I got an email about this awhile ago, Dell is at least trying to make Droid X deals.  I haven't really looked into the details, but thought I would share.
