Droid X restarting

My Droid X is frequently restarting/rebooting itself. This happens when I am unlocking the phone after nonuse or reviewing my notifications or even using the browser.  Any suggestions?

Do you have installed the latest update?  Android v2.2.1?

The thing I would do is:

Do a Battery Pull procedure.  Remove Battery and leave out 30 seconds or so. Re-Install Battery and check.

If that did not do it, I would do a Factory Reset using the procedure located here...

I've used Wildman's procedure and it worked great for me!

There may be another way but this is what I would do.

I had similar problems with the first X I had. The problem might be the charger. Try using only the charger that came with the phone or an OEM charger. And try using the wall charger.
