I am not sure if anyone else is aware of this... but Droid X saves a copy of incoming messages in the contacts app. If you swipe left while viewing a contact you can see all incoming history. I CAN NOT ERASE IT!
I tried pressing and holding, going to the privacy settings and erasing the message. Only way to erase is by erasing the contact. Even if I erase the message on the inbox, its still there. I Hate this app..I had to use Super Private Conversation app(which I had to pay for) to get rid of it. HELP! Sure, I can simply lock my phone.. but what if someone needs to use the phone for anything and my incoming logs are there? It even keep annoying FWD chain letters....

I emailed Motorola. I hope they have a fix for this soon, I may end up swapping this one out for droid incredible. I dont think verizon has any control in this. Also if you guys can please email motorola on this too please! The more emails they get, the faster a fix will come. I dont want to be the 1 person out of 700 thousand Droid x owners that cares about this important security issue.
