How do I connect my Droid X to my iMac computer? Have used an USB cable but the iMac says disk cannot be read.

My Droid 1 connects with no problem..
Im running 10.6.4

When you connect your X to the Mac, you need to put the droid in mass storage mode. You'll see a little USB icon on your notification bar. Drag it down, poke the USB message, and pick "Mass Storage Mode" or something that looks like that (my phone isn't handy).
Should work straight away.

I just received my DROID X today & I am have a family of MACs, & currently have it set-up to my MBP; I started on the VM (virtual memory) side of windows to see about accessing the settings. I too got the same message you did about "can't read...."
I will have to check out doing this on the MAC side instead of the windows side of my MBP.
