My Droid X won't reboot past the M logo.  I have tried taking my battery out and it still doesn't work.  Any suggestions?

You may have to do a dreaded factory reset.  Follow the second method in these instructions from Motorola using the Power button and Volume rocker.

https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/63875/~/droid-x2---master-reset-...

Be aware that a factory reset will delete all of your data (SD card will be safe though).  If you have your contacts backed up via Google gmail or Verizon Backup Assistant they will be safe too.  But you will have to download and install all of you apps again as well as set up your email and social apps.

If a factory reset does not help try removing your SD card and repeat the factory reset.  If that doesn't work, seek professional help (Verizon tech service) or get a replacement phone.

Thanks... I tried it both ways, but it didn't work.  Time to get a new phone.

Sounds like you need your device flashed & if that doesn't work then it's time to upgrade. I've never flashed a device but I wouldn't try searching it.

Pull the Battery For Five Min. or So an While it's Out hold the Power on button for about 30 Seconds then Re-Install the Battery an Fire it Up See if it Works. Let me Know the Results.. b33

This happened to me around May 4th or 5th.  One of the apps received and automatic update and it corrupted the microSD card.  I removed the microSD card, restarted the phone WITHOUT the card... and the phone worked.

The only way I could 'fix' the microSD card was by formatting it in my computer.  (You have to use an adapter so the microSD card can be used in the standard SD card slot on your computer.)

Let us know if this works for you.
