Droid X2 Alarm Clock question/problem

I had a Motorola Droid and began using it as my promary bedroom alarm clock. I would place it in the media base abd, after 5 minutes or so, the screem would dim somewhat and enter the common "screensaver" mode - IE: just the time and upcoming alarm showed, and moved around the screen to prevent burn in I suppose.

With the X2 I put it into the media base but the screen never dims, never enters "screensaver " mode, + the screen does not display the next upcoming alarm that is set....

Is this an OS change or a glitch?

Thanks for the post.  It seems with the X2 the screen saver mode does not come on automatically.  You actually have to press the sleep/screensaver button at the top of the phone.  Hope this helps.  Thank you.

Its part of the os as one's have said there X's were doing the same thing with the lights an since the X 2 has basically the same Os as the regular X the issue seems to be the same.

I don't know if a factory reset or a cache clear would help as the os you have was installed on the phone at Motorola or Verizon before it came to the store but hopefully it's fixed in the next update
