I have had problems with two previous phones. They have replaced both phones and batteries. If you are within the first year of your contract you are covered and they will replace the phones for no charge. I don't know what the problem is and can't seem to get an answer out of Verizon. All I can do is assume they are defective. I am hoping this latest replacement will make it to the end of my contract. All I know is I use my phone a lot less than I used to.The first phone overheated so much that the battery was warped. Good luck with your phone.
