I noticed a number of user saying that IE9 was causing issues but it makes me feel better because I only use Firefox.... IE is junk and to unsecured, I have seen more viruses get through using IE security vulnerabilities..
Might be wise to switch to Firefox...

Firefox isn't perfect either. Coming to this site especially, Firefox just hangs, I have to kill it.
At work, it doesn't hand shortnames well. I can enter unixhmc in IE and it takes me to my HMC, with Firefox I have to type unixhmc.the entire domain, or it won't work.

Hey, got it to post with IE9. Found a setting under the "tools" menu.
Anyway, here's the info I wanted to post regarding the Droid X2 from UnWiredView.com.
Sorry for posting here but the reason I'm posting here is because there is no Droid X2 thread yet.

Firefox is good.! but what i cant figure out on it when i tried to Download the PDF on the T Bolt from the Anroid-Forums an this is when U click on the Verizon Link to PDF to Download it. An Ive got the Latest Abobe Reader But it would'nt work. then when i cleaned my cookies an left the site. them went to Ccleaner to do my Clean as i always do it was telling me that firefox was'nt closed an was'nt responding so i tried to download it on my X it worked flawlessly. So i thought wow lets try I.E an see if that works same thing as on the X it worked. so i dont know whats up the Foxes Butt. I tried it later to see if would download a different PDF an it worked i Guess its temper mentle thing. What do think Wildman could've caused this. think it's Messing with Me

To bad it wont have a front camera or LTE support, I know LTE wont go full blown for a minut but it would be nice to have a supported device for when they do. And the specs on the DX2 looks promissing but it looks like the Bionic may be my next device if I decide to switch.

Yes, my next phone will be an LTE phone. The Bionic is the only phone I would consider right now, but I'm not eligible to upgrade 'til 3/12. Also, I wouldn't get a 4G phone until they have 4G service here in Hawaii. Hawaii is listed as one of the upcoming cities to get LTE so I would expect later this year or early '12 at the latest. The Honolulu airport has 4G now but I'm to far away to take advantage of it.
So hopefully by 3/12 there will be some awesome LTE phones available..... and 4G service here.

I spoke to the techs at the service center here in KC and they reported that it wont be any LTE in my area until the middle or end of next year which means the upgrade wouldnt benifit me until this happens, no devices at this moment would give me any new features that my Droid X cant do now so this means it will be better to wait.

Yeah wildman, by the time we can upgrade to LTE there should be some awesome LTE phones available. I expect they'll be able to pop some microwave popcorn for us to munch on while we're watchin' a movie..... haha!

I've been saving my upgrade for months now. I might switch to the Bionic, however I was hoping for something with a bit more in terms of system RAM. The Bionic is supposed to be better geared towards gaming however the 728mb RAM is going to be a limiting factor there, and I think the Dual Core is just a little slow @ 1Ghz.
The specs I've seen released for the Droid X2 have been all over the map. If the DX2 gets the Tegra 2 (dual core) processor and 1GB of RAM as some reports have stated, it could prove to be quite an upgrade. The Tegra 2 allows 1080p video capture as well as an independent graphics processor. The independent GP would bring the frame rate up and increase image quality much like the Facinate line has.

From what I have read it sounds like the dual core are configured to dedicate one core to processsing video input and the other core to process system data which can allow more memory to be dedicated to the system and keeps memory use to a light load... This engineers are simular to a desktop unit and this may can increase reaction time and allow faster rendering..
Actually I would like to see how well it does when it is released becasue I dont think the performance will be that bad but it appears they may have stayed with a somular camera which limits the picture quality.

That's how the Nvidia Tegra 2 works, it's a GPU, CPU, etc all on one chip. The Tegra 2 3D is supposed to increase graphics significantly but no phones have been announced with it yet, it also runs @ 1.2ghz.
HTC recently announced their 1st dual core running on a Qualicom coming soon, but the test results of that showed the graphics on par with the Droid X.

I not saying its perfect because nothing is but I never had any issues opening pages, do you have IETab plugin installed to allow viewing web pages that are only IE compatible, this makes it where you never have to open IE.

Firefox has the plugins seperate from browser to allow updates to those options and allow you to only install what you require. I have about 6 plug in written into a script on a thunb drive to auto install all my plugins just by plugging it into unit with Firefox open. With these I havent had any issues withe opening, reading or accessing any pages.or information.
Firefox is open source like Android is so it allows new options to be added easier than IE, but not everything is for everybody, but IE isnt even installed on my PCs..
