I'm new to the droid world, when I type and email message , it doesn't let me use my contacts, as if I can remember all my email addresses , same with the text. My other phones use to give me choice to use address from contact , am I doing something wrong
All your contacts are on your email account when you look on the computer on gmail correct? Are they all in your address book on your phone when you go into the actual address book app?
If they are not on your phone but are on the website then go to the home screen and press the menu key, select "settings", select "accounts and sync", select your gmail account, verify that "sync contacts" is checked. Also on the "accounts and sync" settings screen make sure the "auto sync" feature is checked.
If you are using a non gmail account, like a corporate account, it should be the same process, but maybe its not importing the contacts from a corporate address.
