Droid vs Droid X?

It is nearly time for me to trade in my Droid.  I think I would like the X over the HTC Incredible.  Is the X better than the original Droid?  I really like the Google navigation and do not want to give that up.  I also would like a phone more like my ipod touch but with the Android I have come to really like.  I need the pros and cons of the X and the Incredible.

I have had the Droid for a year now and I have had Froyo on it for a few months and really love it.  I know about battery life and that is my biggest drawback other than size of the droid I have now.  Is the wifi capability an extra charge?  Will an ipad or android tablet use it for wireless access?

In a stock form, the Droid X > original droid.  Larger screen, faster processor/gpu, more local app storage, and HDMI out.  Is the Droid X better than a rooted, overclocked droid?  The answer to me was no.  In its current form, my Droid is on par with the Droid X performance wise.  Add in the option of the physical keyboard and the more pocket friendly size and it was a no brainer for me to skip the X.  Don't need HDMI out and a 4.3" screen is a little overkill.  I have an upgrade available but I'll probably save it until an LTE Android device launches.  As long as I don't keep dropping my phone, I think it'll perform admirably until then.

Droid X RULES!  IPHONE4 has a smaller screen, no flash and cannot do some of the things that Droid X does. I say Droid X is the best phone out there compare to HTC incredile and all the other droid preds.

I traded the DROID for the X.  Went on www.gazelle.com and they paid me $143 for my DROID. Got the DROID X for $180 after $20 coupon code. Net price $37. Money from gazelle already hit my pay pal account. Well worth the switch if you have an upgrade available.
