I was messing with the phone and put widgets on the home screen. How do I delete them? I only see how to add more. Thank you.
To delete a widget, you Longpress it (Hold your finger down on said widget for about a second), and you'll feel the phone respond by a slight vibration, while your finger is still on it, just drag it to the little trash can icon that replaced the application tray bay, and hold it over. The widget will turn red, then just let it go and it's deleted!
To add a widget, longpress the homescreen, a menu will pop up with an array of options, Click widgets, and choose from your selection!

I got a Droid yesterday. Its really awesome.
However, I am new to Android OS, can we install widgets other than those listed in the device?
Can we download widgets from the Android Market just as any other application?

Some droid apps are widgets, others are standard applications. I dont think there is an easy way to filter them in the market. For example, "BatteryLife" is a widget only app. If you try to "open" it after its installed, it will error. You can only add it as a Android Widget.

You can do a search in the Android Market for "Widget" and you'll get tons of results.
