Droid x - Dropped Calls, Freezing Screen and Now its auto dialing

Just got my Droidx cell phone and at first loved it,but now getting frustrated.  Quick 1-2 minute calls are ok anything longer and it is dropping the calls.  Also periodically the screen freezes.  Now last night it called a friend 30 times during the night, I hadn't called her so not sure why it picked her number.  Any thoughts would be helpful.... I can't have a phone that is going drop calls and randomly call my contacts.

PLEASE HELP!

Mine just did the same thing.... My co-worker called me at home to ask why I was calling their house over and over again. I told them I wasn't. My wife brought me the Droid X and I could see I did indeed call them 4 times as well as my brother 3 times... all while it was sitting on the charger. While I was looking at it, it called my brother and quickly put the call in the background.

I can also see where an email went out and the "Droid X Verizon network" boiler plate on the bottom of the message was messed up

Very, very strange.

DId you figure out what was happening to yours?

I went through 3 phones and all of them were dropping calls and dialing numbers on its own.  When I spoke with a motorola tech they said to take off the phone cover and not put one on again as it doesn't need it.  I did this and have had no problems since.  Took me 8 months to get resolved but finally is.

Good Afternoon rxpertmed. I know it can be frustrating when your device is not performing well.

Is your software up to date on your Droid 2 Global? The latest version is: 4.5.629.A956.Verizon.en.US.

If the software is up to date, please try running the device in safe mode to determine if third party apps may be causing the issues.

If the device is still not responding, please complete a hard reset.

I hope this information is helpful.
