Here is my problem. Phone has worked great for the 2 months ive had it but last week when I try to make calls my siginal drops to nothing. I will have full bars and as soon as I dial a number and press call the siginal drops completely out. I took the phone to the local Verizon and all they did was a hard reset. I have done mutiple battery pulls, *228, reboots a even cleaned cache and factory reset and all updates and still nothing....any ideas??? I personally am going back to Verizon and try to get a referb. phone since its past my 30 days

Where are you located? There might be some tower conversions on your area due to the merger with Alltel.
Also when you are not on a phone call, bars might be displaying the EDVO signal strength. When you are dialing or on call, the bars could be reflect the CDMA voice strength. One signal can be stronger then the other. There is an App of the market that allows you to see both at the same time. I have used it in the past to troubleshoot some of my signal questions. It is called Real Signal.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
