Sometimes my keyboard backlight comes on with my Droid 2 and sometimes it doesn't. I can't seem to find the secret. I've tried googleing it but no luck. Can someone tell me how to turn it on when it's not on? Is there a setting hidden for this somewhere?

There is no setting. The keyboard lights up when the device isn't getting enough light. You can test it by putting your finger over the light sensor in the upper right hand corner.
After a reboot the lights don't come on either, you can turn the screen off and back on and it goes back to normal.

The keypad for the Droid 2 responds to the lighting around. If the lighting is low, the keypad will glow a lot brighter than in high light environments.
