DroidX2 - Can receive cannot send email - AOL custom domain

I have tried every website for the information and used MANY different settings for the incoming and outgoing servers but nothing seems to work.

I have a custom domain through AOL.  For example john@candyland.com.  When I look for the settings on AOL for IMAP they give me the following:

"Incoming mail server:  imap.myeaddress.com

Outgoing mail server:  stmp.myeaddress.com Set the port to 587

For a secure connection check the SSL option for IMAP/POP and TLS for SMTP in your mail program."

I have tried the above settings with and without the TLS. Can't send mail.

I have also tried using 3535, 80, 25 and 465 for the outgoing server with and without TLS. Can't send mail.

I have also used 143, 995 and 993 for the incoming server with and without TLS.  Can't send mail.

For my last option I tried the standard AOL servers:  imap.aol.com and stmp.aol.com

I used 587, 3535, 80, 25 and 465 for outgoing with and without TLS.  Can't send mail.

I used 143, 995 and 993 with and without TLS.  Can't send mail

Now....with all of that being said....I have tried many many things with the DroidX2 to be able to send email.  However what is funny...is that I have another Droid (the one with the slide and the keyboard) that works JUST FINE with the following settings:

Incoming:  imap.myeaddress.com

143

neither boxes checked and TLS set to never

Outgoing:  stmp.myeaddress.com

587

neither boxes checked

TLS set to never and authentication set to auto

I need to get the DroidX2 working to send email - who have the FINAL ANSWER on what the settings are for the incoming and outgoing servers and their settings that will actually work?!?!?

PS I have double checked the email address and the password for the address MANY MANY times and I have input and reinput the server names in case I transposed a letter - which is what I know someone will ask me if I did.  Thanks!
