E-Mail Deletions

I have just changed from a Blackberry to a Droid X.  On my blackberry I was able to choose when deleting e-mails if I wanted to delete just from my handheld or from the handheld and server.  I have not been able to find where that is an option on the Droid X.  Is anyone able to delete messages fromt he servicer via the Droid?

I double checked because I thought I seen this option on Android, but after going through the menus and options I do not think this is a option in Android.

The phone itself will not have an option to delete the emails from server. However, some email providers have an option to delete the emails from service once they are pushed to your phone. Please log in to your email account on a home computer and check the settings for this option.

If you set up your email accounts on your phone in IMAP instead of POP, emails will delete both on your phone and from the online account (GMail, Yahoo, etc.), if that is what you are asking.
