My droid just stopped receiving e-mails. Notifications will say there are some, but when I go to mail and click on my Inbox folder, nothing happens. Anybody know what's going or what I can do about it?
Try opening your email through your phone and then going through to make sure that you don't have any new mail in the inbox. Even old email that you did not open will cause redundant email notifications. If you're having trouble connecting to your email account, try deleting your email account from the phone and then set it back up.
I have done all this and have had the store reset the email account. They removed the battery to reboot phone. Nothing works. Have deleted all my mail made sure there were no unread emails etc. does not stop. Any other suggestions?
Have you considered trying to reset the phone back to factory?
I do not know why this is happening but I believe it is not that you are not getting your emails but are having the same problem I am that I keep getting alerted there is a new mail and there is none. It is very frustrating and if anyone else has this problem or had it and gotten it fixed I would also like the answer. Store has no idea what is going on. I know there is no missing emails I have checked my computer and another email account that I have my mail forwarded to and nothing is missing. Just the darn alerts and no email.
