EE4 - App Market nastiness

Just did a factory reset last night to my wife's Charge in trying to clear some issues. When it loaded all of the apps, things got real wierd. None of the license keys for most all of her paid apps would load. Didn't really connect the dots with EE4 until I read some comments on the HBO GO app thread

After fighting it through, 2 factory resets, I cut off Mobile Data immediately after the Google account was linked to the phone. Then went and turned off backup, Automatic Restore and Autosync before turning mobile data back on.

 After the 4G came up, I went over to Market and manually installed all of her apps one by one. All of the apps installed fine and it looks like her Market app hasn't updated on the phone even after I turned on the auto backup and autosync.

 

This afternoon, I looked at our market accounts and found that most all of our apps are now incompatible if I try to push them to the phone. All of the unlockers and license keys are just showing as purchased now. I guess that is better than a neutered smartphone but it does need to get fixed and the sooner the better.

 

I did call in a ticket with VZW after I realized the extent of the issue. Don't know whose issue it is, but it wasn't there before EE4 was pushed to our phones.

  • Executive Assistant
  • PowerAmp
  • CalenGoo
  • CamScanner
  • Easy Profiles
  • Extreme Call Blocker
  • My Backup Pro, PicSay
  • Thumb Keyboard
  • Tasker
  • Easy Notes Pro
  • A couple of paid themes for GO Launcher.
