When I try to open email, no messages older than today are in there since the first time messages were checked. They're all just....gone. Not in any other folder. Can I get them back?

Is there an option to check how many days worth of emails that will sync to the phone? I know the HTC phones can set it to just today's emails and then the next day any thing older than 24 hours old won't be on the phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I'm ASSuming you are using Gmail...
I would go online on a computer and check your inbox to make sure the emails are still there. I suggest this based on the news from Google a few months back that a lot of users' emails had been lost

I swear, I wish I could move that post button...
That is just a precautionary step.
Yes, you can set the number of days that the phone will sync mail. Go to your inbox, hit the menu button, select "more", scroll down to "labels", and you, like see "number of days to sync" at the top of that page. Check its setting. There's been a few times where I've seen a setting get changed for seemingly no reason.
Check this and let us know what you find....
