Is there no way to search email on the Droid? I cant find a way to search my corp. or personal mail. Anyone know a solution??

In many of the apps I've used you just press the little search button (magnifying glass) to search within that app. I was sure that this would work within the Email app as well. I was wrong.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, would this not be considered an epic fail on Googles' part? I mean they did make their name as a SEARCH engine didn't they. Seems searching email would have been a no-brainer. You can do it in the Gmail app. Conspiracy? lol
It's not actually a big deal to me personally since I mainly use Touchdown (which does have search capability) for my corporate email and Gmail for the rest. I do have a Yahoo and Live account setup within email app, but I seldom have more than half a dozen emails to deal with in those accounts so no biggie.
I dont know about your corp account but when i open my gmail and press menu, one of the options it brings up is search. Pressing the search brings up a search mail window. Dont know if it is the same on the droid. My G1 has the 1.6 OS.

Yes, the Gmail app does have search capabilities, but the native mail app (for pop, imap, Exchange) does not, at least on the Moto Droid anyway.
The only email I have set up is gmail. so I have no way checking the other interface.
