Email date and time stamp

On all my email that comes into my personal pop account the date and time is 12/31/1969.  This is on all the emails.  Can anyone tell me how to fix this?  There is alot of others in different forums that have the same problem but no solutions.

Try removing the email account, then  adding the email account  back to the device.  

From the home screen, touch the applications tab.
Touch Email
Touch Menu
Touch Manage Accounts

Choose the email account , then remove.

Add Email Account

From the home screen, touch the applications tab.
Touch Email
Touch Menu
Touch Manage Accounts
Touch Add Account
Touch Email (or alternate selection options)
Enter Required email information, tap Next
Tap Done
