Ok so i have read many of the message threads here and I don't see anyone else having this issue or at least not anyone pointing it out. Let me start by saying I can send and receive email on my Droid X without any problems, whether is gmail or aol or my work email... but only while using the 3G service, if i am connected to a wifi network I can receive but I can not send email, isn't that odd??
Has anyone else noticed this difference while on 3G and wifi?
This isn't really a abnormal issue, some ISP use different server information for mobile access than the home network use. Is it all email accounts are just curtain ones?
it's my aol and work email, gmail seems to work fine both on 3G and wifi. It is not a big issue for me, I was just wondering if it's something that happens to other people. Reading all the threads on people not being able to send emails made me wonder if their settings were right but the issue is they need to disconnect from wifi in order to send emails.
