I have created numerous emails, I see them in the out box but none have been sent. Why?

Try to first do a soft reset and pull your battery then re-install it. Once you have done this update your roaming capabilities by dialing *228 then selecting option 2. Once you have done this it should reconnect to the server and finish sending your emails. Hope this helps

The problem is in the stmp ports.

I use mindspring/earthlink and we had to change my port to 443

I also had to uncheck the both boxes underneath ...neither one should be checked...probably a danger there, but if I checked either one my messages wouldn't go through.

Hope this helps!

What email provider are you using to send with? You may need to check your outgoing settings with carriers settings because a number of carriers only allow you to send when the access port and server information is correct.

It's because the Droid X is a terrible phone, full of bugs, constant problems...and when u call for support, verrzon only knows how to remove and replace the battery.   I am up to level 3 support with Motorola and they still can't figure out the many problems, despite already replacing the phone...If u haven't bought it, don't buy thr droid x....worthless!

Give me a break !    1 Post  and you're all HATE ? How about giving people a chance to HELP you if you're REALLY having issues;  or are you just trolling?  Maybe you should return your DX and get something that you feel more capable of dealing with?

Well welcome anyway   .....

I LOVE the DROID X  ...

depends what type email you're using, pop3 or webmail.

if pop3 with pop/smtp servers, mail won't be sent until a fetch/send-receive occurs.

This issue has nothing at all to do with the device..idk why you even brought that up..

anyway you have your outgoing server information incorrect

try removing the email account and adding it fresh

seems like my first item was stuck, and nothing else would send.  I went in, and saved everything else i had sent back to draft mode, then at some point, it all released.
