After the operating sys. was upgrading to 2.2 I can not turn off my email notifications. Any thoughts please?
What type of e-mail are we talking about the gmail or like exchange?
Open up your settings with the menu button for each email account. I am able to turn off the update and I have all kinds of email accounts (pop3, exchange and gmail).

Just make sure you are in your inbox for your RR account, then hit the menu key (the one that looks like 4 lines) , touch account settings, scroll down until you see the Notification Settings area, uncheck the Email notifications box and you should no longer receive notifications in the status bar for that account.
