Glad to hear a positive post for a change, usually users log in to flame about how the CS and company screwed them.. There is some knowledgable CS reps but I do admit some can make you wonder..

Certainly a breath of fresh air since most comments are negative rants about lousey customer service. I too have nothing but kudos for the people working at my local Verizon stores. They have been a big help on numerous occasions.
that's very rare these days.......I used to have these kind of kudos all the time with Verizon, but of the past year or so, those have all but disappeared. I once in a blue moon have a decent experience, but alot of the time unfortunately I end up talking to the folks who don't care and are more interested in looking at the clock to see when it's 5p so they can dash out the door
I dealt with Karen Brooks from Michigan this morning to try to fix a problem that I created with a phone order. I was more than pleased with the patient and thorough approach she took to solve my problem. The problem required a supervisor to get involved but no supervisor was in the office yet (it was 6:15 AM). Karen took it upon herself to follow up with the supervisor later this morning, get the problem solved and then send me an email message to let me know the problem was taken care of. I found this to be a very positive experience and I wish all customer service people I dealt with were like Karen!
I've only ever had one mildly negative experience with Verizon, and that was a manager at the local store. Otherwise, every experience with Verizon has been beyond excellent. I'm not exactly a frequent caller, and I've been with Verizon for years, so maybe those things make a difference. I even had an issue with a $100 rebate which didn't arrive in time (there was no date visible on the info I received) and so they credited my account instead. I've been so pleased with my service that a company would have to give me a pretty deep discount on monthly service to tear me away. Great service from Verizon has been the norm, in my experience, and I hope they keep up the good work!
