I am unable to view a live broadcast from espn3 on my Droid Charge. I have no problem viewing on laptop, but I thought I was supposed to be able to view on charge--either using the app or going straightnto thesite via thenbrowser.

I now understand why the app problem, but shouldn't it work by regular browser?

Hi there!

If you are given that message on any website, it means just what it says. The site or program used to run that video is not optimized for mobile devices. Some will run smoother than others..

Thank you!

Yes, I understand that.  As a partial resolution, I found that I can use the app "PlayOn" and it gives me the ESPN3 live action.

I'm still in the trial stage, but I will likely sign on.

espn3 is only available to particular carriers. i suspect you have one of the cable or internet providers that it is available to, which is why it automatically opens on your laptop. if you look into the issue, i "think" there is a way to create some type of account and verify that you have one of the supported providers, and then somehow access it on any other device after you have done this.
