Exchange ActiveSync Issue

Every morning, right around 6AM, I no longer am able to receive emails tied to my work email which I receive on my Droid Incredible through Exchange ActiveSync. The strange thing is that I am able to send email (tested it twice) and even see email that I have sent using my desktop. But still no incoming messages.

My IT department says it's either the device or that I need to purchase the Touchdown app. Any ideas???

I have the same issue. I have wiped my Droid and the problem persists.  Like clockwork, when I launch Outlook on my computer at the office, I stop receiving e-mails on the Droid. I can send e-mails OK.

Originally, I was using the installed e-mail client on the Droid, but I have tried the Touchdown product and have the same issue.

Other Droid users at our company do not have the problem--the only possibility is that I am running Office 2010.  Everyone else is on Office 2003 and Office 2007.  I am going to down-grade to Office 2007 to see if that solves the problem. Our Exchange server is 2003 I believe.

Frustrating.  I really have enjoyed my Droid.

Would you let me know if the downgrade worked? With Touchdown, I stopped receiving emails as of 8:30 this morning. Very frustrating!!

I have provided some information below that may help.

Step 1 – Try removing the exchange account.

Step 2 – Once removed, complete a soft reset.

-Power the phone off

-Pull the battery for 20 seconds

-Place the battery back in

-Power the device back on

Step 3 – Clear the email applications data ***Please note you will have to add or  log back into any email accounts (other than gmail).

-Select Menu

-Select Settings

-Select Applications

-Select Manage applications

-Select All

-Select Mail

-Clear cache

-Clear data

Step 4 – Add the exchange account back on the device.
