The refurbished Droid 2 has a one-year warranty. If I purchase the extended warranty does it start when the refurbished warranty begin, or do I start paying the monthly fee immediately?
Are you talking about an extended warranty or insurance? If this is the $5 / month insurance it starts immediately and covers more than the standard warranty.

Mechanical / electrical malfunctions after the manufacturer's 12 month warranty expires. It covers the device only not the battery. It also is active until you cancel the feature.
