If you pay for the Extended Warranty Service each month, the information says that it will replace your phone with the same one or one of equal value.
What if you want a phone of lesser value? Will it replace your phone with a phone that is less than your broken phone?
In other words, can you downgrade?

Everything I've read from people who have gotten replacement phones seems to say that you don't have much of a choice what you get. If the insurance co. has the same phone you have, they will send that first. If not, they send whatever they can.
Dumb question. Why would you want to downgrade?

Hello jtombarber! Allow me to clarify the language on the standard and extended warranty policies. When the phone malfunctions under the warranty, we look to same model, same make to replace it. It is only when all stock of that model and make are depleted that we look to other models and other makes. That's why the replacement may be of equal or lesser value that the original.
