what is the difference between the regular and extended batteries and how long will the battery last on usage and standbuy
the stock battery is 1300mah. there are a number of extended batteries.....1750mah (does not require a different back door), 2250mah and 3500mah (both require a larger back door and make the device thicker). it's impossible to tell you how long they will last because everyone has different settings (how often certain apps sync or update, etc).....but you can do the math and estimate how much more life you would get from them. the 2250mah makes the device a bit thicker and the 3500mah makes the device WAY thicker. i didn't want to make the device thicker so i just got a couple spares on ebay for $10. i keep one in the car and one at my office so if i ever really need to, i can just switch them out without plugging the phone in to charge. the 1750 should give you about 25% more life without increasing the size of your device. if you dont mind making it a bit thicker then i'd go with the 2250 (or 2200??)...but the 3500 is REAL thick. also, they come with the larger back door if it's required.
